Location: Chorley, North West 3 Days, Home-based 2 Days
Full-time | £50,000 per annum plus benefits 

We’re looking for a Cloud Consultant to join our team. As a Cloud Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering cloud solutions for clients across a broad range of sectors.

You’ll be customer facing and act as a trusted advisor, working closely with sales and technical teams to lead presales engagements, define cloud strategies, and deliver robust Microsoft 365-based solutions for clients.

This is an opportunity to join a growing Managed Services Provider, ideal for an M365/Modern workplace engineer at taking on more of a pre-sales focus or someone in an existing pre-sales role that is happy to play an active role in in project delivery.

A day in the life of a Cloud Consultant looks a little like this (example of some key responsibilities):

  • Provide strategic customer engagement for the design and installation of new IT Cloud infrastructure and endpoint opportunities.
  • Take ownership of pre-sales activities, supporting the design and scoping of Cloud IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Engage with internal account managers to identify Cloud opportunities within the Netcentrix customer base.
  • Carry out remote & onsite customer meetings, workshops, installations and audits with a high standard of professionalism.
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of solutions for customers across Microsoft 365, including Intune, SharePoint, Security, Compliance, and Purview deployments and migrations.
  • Product development and onboarding of new third party products that integrate with and improve our MSP offering.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience of designing, deploying and managing diverse public, private & hybrid cloud services and projects. These include, but are not limited to:
    • Exchange Online, including migration.
    • SharePoint design and data migration.
    • Teams design and Administration.
    • Intune, including device enrolment and management.
    • Conditional Access and MFA.
    • Enterprise Applications.
    • Windows Server – including Group Policy Windows Virtual Desktop Services.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a consultancy or MSP environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security/compliance features.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management (Entra ID), hybrid connectivity, and governance.
  • Ability to write relevant and accurate reports.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. SC-900, MS102).
  • Knowledge of licensing models and CSP programmes.
