Cloud Connect gives your business a private, dedicated path into the cloud – bypassing the public internet for guaranteed performance, security, and reliability.
Cloud Connect offers a secure and reliable connection between your IT infrastructure and your cloud computing services.
Take advantage of a secure, private connection to your cloud resources, including storage, computing and cloud support solutions, as if using your own data centre.
Cloud Connect services create a private, dedicated connection between your business network, Netcentrix’s core network, and your chosen cloud platform. Unlike a standard broadband connection, your data never touches the public internet – it travels along a circuit built exclusively for your business, all the way to the cloud provider’s door.
The result is cloud connectivity that behaves more like your own data centre than a shared internet service. Performance is consistent, latency is predictable, and your cloud resources (whether that’s hosted applications, storage, or compute) are always within reach at the speed your business needs.
Cloud Connect provides a dedicated cloud connection to many of the largest Cloud Service Provider platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Salesforce.
It is delivered over dedicated internet access – a private circuit with bandwidth reserved exclusively for your business, not shared with other users on the same line. When your network users access cloud resources, traffic takes the path created via Cloud Connect as its primary route, traversing Netcentrix’s core network and exiting directly into your cloud provider’s infrastructure. There’s no contention, no unpredictable routing through third-party networks, and no dependence on the quality of a standard internet connection.
SD-WAN and Cloud Connect are often mentioned in the same breath, but they solve different problems. SD-WAN manages how traffic moves between your offices and sites – it’s a smart routing layer that prioritises and distributes traffic across multiple WAN connections. Cloud Connect controls what happens at the other end: how your traffic reaches cloud platforms specifically, and with what level of guaranteed performance.
The two technologies aren’t in competition. Many businesses run Cloud Connect behind an SD-WAN deployment, using SD-WAN to manage site-to-site traffic and Cloud Connect to ensure that cloud-bound traffic arrives via a private, dedicated path rather than being handed off to the public internet at the nearest exit point.
If your primary concern is the performance, security, and reliability of your cloud applications (not just how traffic moves between your branches), Cloud Connect is the right conversation to be having.

Cloud Connect is built for businesses where cloud performance isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s an operational requirement. If any of the following apply, it’s worth a look:
You rely on cloud-hosted applications day to day. Platforms like Microsoft 365, SAP, or Salesforce are only as good as the connection carrying them. If your teams are experiencing slowdowns, dropped calls, or inconsistent performance, the issue is often the route to the cloud rather than the platform itself.
You operate in a regulated industry. Finance, healthcare, and legal businesses frequently have compliance requirements that preclude sensitive data travelling over shared public infrastructure. Cloud Connect provides a private, auditable path that standard broadband simply can’t offer.
You’ve migrated to the cloud, but performance hasn’t improved. Moving workloads to Azure or AWS doesn’t automatically solve connectivity. If you’re still routing cloud traffic over a standard internet connection, you’re not getting the performance your infrastructure is capable of.
You need guaranteed uptime, not best efforts. Cloud Connect is backed by enterprise SLAs and Quality of Service guarantees. If downtime has a direct cost to your business, a best-efforts broadband connection isn’t the right foundation.
The provision of Cloud Connect is entirely remote. The only access would be relating to installation of an MPLS/WAN link, if that link doesn’t already exist.
We offer both ‘wires only’ and fully managed. For a fully managed service, Cloud Connect would need to be integrated into a bespoke solution containing Azure hosted services via Netcentrix. Contact us to find out more.
Our specialists are ready to help you find out whether Cloud Connect is the right solution for your business. We’ll take the time to understand your business, operations and needs to find the right Cloud Connect solution for you.
A cloud WAN replaces the traditional hub-and-spoke MPLS model (where all traffic routes back through a central data centre) with direct cloud ingress at each site. Rather than backhauling traffic to reach cloud platforms, a cloud WAN architecture connects sites directly to the cloud. Cloud Connect is the private circuit that makes this possible, giving each connection the dedicated bandwidth and performance guarantees a cloud-first network requires.
Still weighing up MPLS vs SD-WAN? For businesses whose main concern is guaranteed, private access to cloud platforms, Cloud Connect is often the better question — regardless of which WAN technology you use to get there. MPLS delivers reliability but at significant cost and with limited cloud optimisation. SD-WAN adds flexibility and intelligent routing. Cloud Connect sits alongside either, ensuring that wherever your traffic originates, its path into the cloud is private, consistent, and backed by enterprise SLAs.
Cloud Connect provides private connectivity into all major cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Salesforce. Beyond the major hyperscalers, Netcentrix can connect your business to a wide range of UK and global cloud service providers.
